Sehat Industrial and Trading Company manufactures sulfate-free infant products

Every parent’s desire is to raise happy, healthy kids.

Every parent wants to raise a happy, healthy, well-adjusted children

In this respect, Sehat Industrial and Commercial Company replaced its children’s shampoo with four sulfate-free products in an attempt to enhance the quality of its products, particularly in the area of manufacturing health-related products for children.

With such a modifications, all of the raw ingredients included in the product formulation are of plant origin and are free of sulfates.

As regards the use of this replacement minimizes the potential danger that detergents could cause to young children’s sensitive skin and hair while still allowing for the safe maintenance of their safety and well-being.

The measurement of the Zein number (a naturally water-insoluble protein) is one of the most crucial elements in the clinical evaluation of detergent products. This factor for children’s products must be below 100 for a product to be considered safe for children, according to the Iran National Standards Organization (INSO) and the website of the The European Union (EU).

The Zein test procedure measures how shampoo and its ingredients cause skin sensitisation. The degree of skin sensitization of this method was evaluated using a table that compares the outcomes of the zein test procedure with those of animal tests. This approach uses the dissolution of corn protein, which is extremely similar to the protein found in skin and hair.

All raw materials from various sources were subjected to this test, and only ingredients that were totally light and didn’t make the baby’s skin sensitive were chosen.

the Zein test procedure is one of the techniques utilized in this industry To identify the sensitizing potential associated with Anionic surfactants in detergents, especially shampoos.

The degree of skin irritation brought on by Anionic surfactants is closely related to the solubility of zein in surfactant solutions. Zein’s solubility rises in tandem with an increase in skin irritation.

This test is based on the  size of zein protein that has been dissolved in 100 ml of a particular solution of the test (which is identical to the keratin protein found in the skin), after which the amount of nitrogen released will be estimated.

the larger the amounts of nitrogen immobilized,  the greater the stimulation of the desired solution.

We are pleased to announce that Sehat baby detergent shampoo have a Zein number below 20, which indicates that using these products provide a safe and healthy condition for our children.
