Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Social responsibility refers to a set of obligations that businesses have to society, people, and the environment within which they operate. In the past, businesses held a conventional perspective on business management and saw themselves as only responsible to their shareholders. But In today’s circumstances , companies may win over the hearts and minds of the community by fulfilling their responsibilities, and the popularity of a brand is directly correlated with its profit margin. Due to the significance of this, the business has a set of responsibilities to preserve, protect, and benefit the community within which it operates.

In addition to offering a fairly full selection of detergent and hygiene goods, Sehat Group has set broad axes for the society and, of course, accepted duties. Sehat Group is one of the activists in the nation’s detergent, hygiene, and cosmetics industries.

Sehat Industrial and Trading Co has always acted as a leader in this regard by contributing financially to charities, distributing hygiene kits made from its products, and actively participating in the healthcare delivery to vulnerable members of society and low-income families.

A wide range of support and philanthropic work are part of Sahat Industrial and Commercial Company’s social obligations. Following are few examples of how this business maintained its social responsibilities to society in 1400

A charitable organisation called Nikan Mamut received 3,000 bottles of ordinary  Hand Washing Liquid with apple fragrance  from Sehat  in July 1400. While the fourth COVID-19 Variant, “Delta,” was blamed for the province of Sistan and Balochistan’s red alert health status announcement. Nikan mamut charity foundation  set up hygienic kits and gathered supplies. These packages, which were transported to the cities of Hirmand , Zehak , and Fanuj and distributed among households, included detergents as well as Emergency Livelihood Immediate Packages for the promotion of personal hygiene culture and the preventing the spread of the coronavirus. In the region of Sistan and Balochistan, the Seder and Sehat Company managed to control the Coronavirus Delta variant .

Many provinces in the country had a problem of water scarcity last year, particularly for drinking. The water needed by the people in the village of Ghori, Zahak County, Sistan and Balochistan, was delivered by the rivers of Afghanistan and the wells nearby; however,  poor water quality caused many diseases in people, particularly children and vulnerable people, such as pregnant women. Sehat Company contributed 702,000,000 Rials to the Nikan mamut charity foundation  #Nazr Aab campaign in order to buy a water filter. This system, which was created in accordance with the water hardness in Gori village, provides 187 families with 10 cubic metres of clean drinking water each day. In keeping with its social responsibility, Sehat Company built this device in Gouri village as part of the Nikan mamut charity foundation’s #Nazr Aab campaign to provide our people with safe drinking water and to avoid gastrointestinal diseases among local families, particularly children.

Personal and community hygiene are of utmost importance during crises and natural disasters like floods and earthquakes, which cannot be achieved without hygienic kits and detergents. Nikan mamut charity foundation and Sehat Industrial and Trading Co  collaborated for this project in order to help their fellow citizens devastated by the floods in the southern flood crisis. Another act of charity carried out by Sehat Company to maintain its social responsibility was the donation of 1008 bottles of dishwashing liquid, washing liquid, shampoo, as well as 504 toothpastes used in hygienic kits sent to the south of the country following the flood crisis in the southern regions of Iran.
